Insulation and recuperation ducts

Blown wool and batts, PIR boards, membranes and sealing, heat recovery ducts. Based in Kaunas, working across Lithuania, quickly and properly.

Insulation without the worry

We insulate lofts and roofs, lay PIR boards, seal membranes and run heat recovery ducts all over Lithuania.

How much heat escapes?

Choose a material and thickness. We count one square metre of ceiling with −20 °C outside and +20 °C inside.

The same warmth from 260 mm of batts or 170 mm of PIR.

A simplified estimate from U = 1 / (Rsi + Rse + d/λ), counting the insulation layer only. We choose the exact build-up after seeing the structure.

What you get

  • No seams

Blown wool fills every gap between joists, cables and pipes.

  • Non-combustible wool

Mineral wool is fire class A1.

  • Precise cutting

Batts are cut wider than the gap so no cracks remain.

  • A thinner layer

PIR insulates almost twice as well as wool.

  • Taped seams

Every PIR and membrane seam is sealed with tape.

  • Sealed penetrations

Pipes, cables and ducts get airtight grommets.

  • Insulated ducts

In a cold loft the ducts stay free of condensation.

  • All of Lithuania

Based in Kaunas, we bring all the equipment to any town.

  • A tidy finish

We clean up and show you the result.

How we work

Thermispro is an insulation crew from Kaunas. From the first call to a tidy loft, we do it all ourselves.

You call or write: what needs insulating, how large the area is and where the building is.

From the area, the build-up and the thickness you want, we work out the materials and give you a price. If needed, we visit first.

Blown wool on a ceiling

We arrive with all the equipment and materials, protect the rooms and work tidily. Most jobs take one or a few days.

Questions

How much does insulation cost?

The price depends on the material, the area, the layer thickness and where the building is. Write or call and we will price your job.

Do you work outside Kaunas?

Yes. We are based in Kaunas but work across Lithuania: Vilnius, Klaipėda, Šiauliai, Panevėžys and elsewhere.

What is the difference between blown wool and batts?

It is the same mineral wool in different forms. Blown wool goes into ceilings and closed cavities; batts and rolls go into roofs, walls and partitions.

How thick should ceiling insulation be?

A cold loft floor usually gets 300–500 mm of wool. The calculator above shows how thickness changes heat loss.

Why does sealing matter?

Warm air escapes and moisture gets in through gaps, so even thick insulation works worse. Airtight membranes and seams let the insulation work fully.

Do you install the heat recovery unit?

We install the ducts and connect them to the unit. Choosing and supplying the unit itself is agreed for each job separately.
